At Trinity College, we foster a community that is environmentally aware and applies principles of sustainability to daily operations, long-term planning, and academic life.

Cover page of the Sustainability Action PlanTrinity College’s strategic plan, Summit, calls for us to build on Trinity’s historic past to ensure a vibrant, sustainable future. As part of that goal, we are committed to embracing and promoting urban environmental sustainability as a fundamental value of the College.

Our Sustainability Action Plan is the culmination of a multi-year collaboration between students, faculty, and staff.  The plan sets the college’s strategies and priorities to further our sustainability efforts in the coming years. Climate change is one of the biggest challenges that society faces today.  As global citizens, our campus community has a shared responsibility to its individual members to support sustainability. Our Sustainability Action Plan provides a clear framework for our work ahead. The plan can be viewed here and downloaded here.
